A little more about our surf lessons
Our surf school consists of a small team of dedicated surfers, all of whom surf at a high level. we all have many years of experience as instructors and can therefore guarantee surf lessons of the highest quality at all levels.
🌊 Conditions & flexibility
What if there are no waves?
We hold surf lessons approx. 80% of the time from spring to autumn. Klitmøller is known for stable wind and wave conditions in all seasons. Flat periods can occur – as with all surf spots – but we always plan flexibly and choose the best spot of the day in the area.
If we cannot complete the lesson properly, we offer:
• Rebooking to another day
• Alternative activity
• Refund for the lesson in question
Cancellations are rare as we adapt to the conditions.
🌦 Surf in all seasons
- The surfschool is open from the easter holidays to the autumn holidays
Winter
Powerful swells, clean conditions, and full North Sea energy. Cold air and water, full gear needed
Spring
Clean swells and increasing air temperatures. April can still be cold in the water, but from May conditions become significantly more comfortable.
Summer
Warmer air and water temperatures with playful summer swells. Ideal for beginners and intermediate surfers.
Autumn
Water temperatures remain relatively warm from summer. Storm systems return and bring more powerful surf. One of the best times of the year to surf.
Our lessons
For you who want to catch your first wave, or have tried it a few times before. We guarantee a fun and safe experience in a safe environment. Our instructors have many years of experience and are with you all the way. Our surfing courses are always held where the wave conditions are best and can therefore change from day to day.
For beginners
You will learn basic surf technique and theory. You will learn, among other things, how to catch waves and how to get up correctly. Our instructors are there to create the perfect setting so you can safely learn as much as possible while you are here, while of course we have fun.
Learn to surf
Now is the time to let go of your inner surf bum and take on the waves of the North Sea safely with our experienced instructors. You will learn the basics and will soon be able to catch waves yourself. We can not guarantee you will be transformed into a Hawaiian. But we can guarantee you sore arms and laughter muscles
Private lessons
A private lesson is the shortest route from Zero to Hero. You have the full attention of the instructor, and before you know it, you have sold your apartment and live in an old van from 86 with surf racks.
